As we live in the era of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, so let us talk about chat GPT and its ..orientations?

What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a language model based on the GPT architecture that generates human-like responses to text-based prompts naturally and engagingly. It is trained on massive amounts of text data, allowing it to develop high-quality responses. Its large size and complexity, with billions of parameters, enable it to create nuanced responses, making it unique among other AI models.

History of ChatGPT:

It was launched on November 30, 2022, by San Francisco-based OpenAI, also the creator of DALL and Whisper AI. The service was initially open to the public. The company had plans to monetize the service later. By December 4, 2022, ChatGPT had over one million users.

Main differences between ChatGPT-3.5 and ChatGPT-4

•Dealing with exams

- Simulated lawyer exam: GPT-4 ranked in the top 10% while GPT-3.5 scored in the bottom 10% - Results in some examinational fields

•processing texts and images

-ChatGPT-4 can analyze images, graphs, and worksheets and connect that information with written questions, while ChatGPT-3.5 only reads text

•better handling of language games

- Summarizing a paragraph using only words beginning with the letter “g”, GPT-4 succeeded while GPT-3.5 failed

Process of making GPT:

1. Data collection and preprocessing: To train Chat GPT, a massive corpus of text data was collected from the internet as websites and books.
2. Model architecture design: The Chat GPT model is based on the GPT architecture, which uses a transformer network to generate data.
3. Training: The training process began once the data was preprocessed and the model architecture was designed.
4. Fine-tuning: After the initial training was complete, the Chat GPT model was fine-tuned on specific tasks, such as question answering or text completion.

Applications of ChatGPT:

1. Chatbots and virtual assistants
2. Content creation
3. Language Translation
4. personalized recommendations
